Housing Service Standards Consultation
Overview
Oxford City Council is developing new Housing Service Standards for council tenants, council leaseholders and council shared owners. These standards explain the level of service residents can expect from the Council as their landlord.
The draft standards are based on the Regulator of Social Housing's Consumer Standards and are organised into five themes:
-
Safety and Quality
-
Transparency, Influence and Accountability
-
Competence and Conduct
-
Neighbourhood and Community
-
Tenancy
The standards cover repairs, home and building safety, communication, resident involvement, performance information, complaints, neighbourhood management, anti-social behaviour, support to help tenants sustain their tenancy, allocations and mutual exchanges.
We would like to hear your views before the standards are finalised.
This consultation gives council tenants, council leaseholders, council shared owners and other interested residents the opportunity to comment on the draft standards and help shape the final version.
Your feedback will help us understand if the draft standards are clear, useful and focused on the issues that matter most to residents.
You can download a full copy of the draft Housing Service Standards at the bottom of this page. Alternatively, the full details of each Service Standard will be available to view alongside the relevant survey questions in each section.
If you have any questions about the proposed Housing Service Standards, please email residentinvolvement@oxford.gov.uk
Your responses are confidential. All data will be stored securely and used solely by Oxford City Council for research and service improvement. The survey complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
