Opened 18 Feb 2025

Overview

Consultation for Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) with Prohibitions Restricting Unauthorised Persons from Gathering in Residential Communal areas serving 199-207 Barns Road and 36-44 Upper Barr.

The proposed Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) aims to address concerns related to anti-social behaviour (ASB) linked to unauthorized gatherings in an Oxford City Council Residential communal area. The ASB includes harassment and intimidation of nearby residents and open space drug use. The PSPO is designed to create a safer environment for residents by placing restrictions on non-residents from congregating in the designated residential area.

The proposed PSPO is attached at the bottom of this page.
