Council Tax Reduction Scheme 2024 Consultation

Overview

The Local Council Tax Reduction (CTR) Scheme is undergoing its annual review, and we invite you to share your views. This consultation is a legal requirement under the Local Government Finance Act 1992 (Section 13a 1(c)) and aims to ensure that the CTR scheme reflects the needs and preferences of our community.

The feedback we receive will help shape the support provided to households in need, ensuring fair and effective distribution of resources. We encourage everyone, including council taxpayers, local organizations, and other stakeholders, to participate and share their thoughts. The consultation will run from 9^th August 2024 to 27^th September  2024.

Paper questionnaires are also available at local libraries and community hubs.
