Oxford Station Supplementary Planning Document (SPD)

The City Council is consulting on a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) for the Oxford Station Area. The SPD sets out an indicative Masterplan which builds on the original Masterplan that was developed by Tripartite partnership of Oxford City Council, Oxfordshire County Council and Network Rail in conjunction with the train operating companies and the Department of Transport.

This Masterplan provides advice and guidance on how to redevelop the Oxford Station area through a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD). This additional design advice in the SPD will build on the adopted West End Area Plan policy framework.

The results from this survey will be used to inform and/or amend the final version of the SPD which will be adopted by the City Council.

(Please be aware that a separate consultation is also underway on the Oxford Local Plan Preferred Options document, this can be viewed at: www.oxford.gov.uk/localplan)
