Development of Land West of Mill Lane, Marston - Public Consultation
Oxford needs homes. Our city is the least affordable in the country and there are currently 2,355 families on our waiting list for council housing.
The site has been allocated for residential development in the adopted Oxford Local Plan 2036. Oxford City Council is proposing to build 79 new homes on this site, with 50% being provided as social rent and other affordable tenures. The remaining 40 homes will be offered for private sale. The homes intend to deliver a 70% carbon emission reduction from current building regulations. The development will also include a new public open space, pedestrian and cycle connections to nearby areas and a locally-sensitive design approach.
Please see our Development of Land West of Mill Lane, Marston pages for more details of the proposals (link to) https://www.oxford.gov.uk/land-west-of-mill-lane
Oxford City Council are committed to consulting, and your feedback will be considered carefully before we take the proposals forward.
