Sites and Housing DPD Proposed Submission Document

Oxford City Council is preparing a planning document called the Sites and Housing Development Plan Document (DPD). It will allocate sites in Oxford for a variety of uses such as housing, student accommodation and offices and it will include new policies for affordable housing, student accommodation and Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs). Future planning applications will be judged against these policies.
During November and December 2010 we held Pre-Options consultation events asking your initial views on what you thought should be developed on specific sites and your ideas on key housing issues. The events were well attended and we received many comments which we summarised in a consultation report.
During June and July 2011 we published our Preferred Options for each potential site allocation and housing topic and asked for your views. Planning Officers toured the Area Forums to discuss these issues. The Area Forums were all well attended. We received many comments which we summarised in a consultation report.
We have now published our Proposed Submission Development Plan Document (DPD). The purpose of this consultation is to seek formal representations on the DPD policies.
We have created a Structured Document so that you can submit your representations online, on each section of the document.
This consultation has now closed.
